Meta has released Llama 4 models in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, introducing two advanced multimodal AI models:
- Llama 4 Scout 17B: A general-purpose model with 17 billion active parameters and an unprecedented 10 million token context length
- Llama 4 Maverick 17B: A versatile model with 128 experts, 400 billion total parameters, and support for 12 languages
- Features mixture-of-experts architecture for efficient multimodal processing
- Offers improved performance and lower cost compared to Llama 3
- Available in US East (N. Virginia) AWS Region
These models enable more powerful and flexible AI applications, with enhanced capabilities in text and image understanding.
