AWS has announced significant price reductions for Amazon S3 Express One Zone, a high-performance single-Availability Zone storage class designed for latency-sensitive applications.

  • Price reductions effective April 10, 2025 include:
    • 31% reduction in storage pricing
    • 55% reduction in PUT request prices
    • 85% reduction in GET request prices
    • 60% reduction in data upload and retrieval charges
  • S3 Express One Zone offers:
  • Data access up to 10 times faster than S3 Standard
  • Up to 2 million GET transactions per second
  • Up to 200,000 PUT transactions per second
  • Available in multiple regions including US East, US West, Asia Pacific, and Europe

    • These price reductions aim to make high-performance storage more accessible for workloads like data analytics, media rendering, and AI/ML training.
