Amazon OpenSearch Service has added SAML single sign-on support for the OpenSearch UI, enhancing authentication and access management capabilities.
- Enables SAML identity federation between identity providers and IAM
- Supports Single Sign-On (SSO) experience for end-users
- Allows defining a Default Relay State URL for direct landing in OpenSearch UI
- Provides fine-grained access control by mapping Identity Provider users and roles to IAM roles
- Available in all regions where OpenSearch UI is supported
This feature simplifies user authentication and provides more flexible access management for OpenSearch UI users.
