Announcing the AWS Well-Architected Generative AI Lens

AWS has announced the new Well-Architected Generative AI Lens, a framework for designing and evaluating generative AI workloads on AWS. The lens provides guidance across six key phases of the generative AI lifecycle:
- Scoping the AI's problem-solving potential
- Selecting an appropriate model
- Customizing the model
- Integrating the model into applications
- Deploying the AI capability
- Iterating and improving the solution
Key focus areas include responsible AI implementation, data architecture, and aligning with six Well-Architected Framework pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability. The lens is designed for business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and compliance professionals.
