AWS CodeBuild has introduced new features for build environment customization, allowing users more flexibility in resource allocation:
- Support for selecting specific EC2 instance types when using reserved capacity fleets
- Ability to configure storage size attached to build instances
- Enables optimization of build environments based on specific workload requirements
- Supports customization of CPU, memory, storage, network speed, and GPU resources
The feature is available in multiple regions, including US East, US West, South America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, helping developers improve productivity and manage build environment costs more effectively.
