AWS has launched AWS Transform for .NET, an agentic AI service designed to help modernize .NET Framework applications at scale by porting them to cross-platform .NET.
- Provides two porting experiences: web interface for enterprise-scale transformation and Visual Studio IDE extension
- Supports projects with private NuGet package dependencies
- Can execute unit tests after transformation
- Offers detailed transformation summaries and reports
- Supports porting MVC Razor views to ASP.NET Core Razor views
- Currently available in Europe (Frankfurt) and US East (N. Virginia) regions
- Supports .NET Framework versions 3.5+, .NET Core 3.1, and .NET 5+
