Amazon Neptune has launched the MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server, a new tool designed to enhance interaction with graph databases using generative AI and natural language querying.
- Now available in the AWS open-source repository
- Supports openCypher and Gremlin query languages
- Enables schema discovery and natural language graph queries
- Compatible with tools like Amazon Q CLI, Cursor, and Claude Code
- Allows users to ask questions in plain English and receive graph responses
- Available in all AWS regions with Amazon Neptune
The Neptune MCP Server simplifies graph data exploration and integration, making it easier for developers and AI assistants to work with complex graph databases.
