AWS has enhanced DataSync with a new capability that simplifies cross-cloud data transfers, offering direct data movement between storage services without agent deployment.

  • Now supports direct transfers to/from Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and Oracle Cloud Object Storage
  • Uses Enhanced mode for faster transfer speeds through parallel processing
  • Supports virtually unlimited object counts
  • Provides detailed metrics and reporting
  • Available in all AWS Regions where DataSync is offered

The update streamlines data migration and pipeline processes, enabling customers to more efficiently move data between different cloud storage services with improved performance and simplified setup.
