Amazon SageMaker introduces an upgrade experience enabling customers to transition from SageMaker Studio to SageMaker Unified Studio with minimal disruption:
- Preserves existing AI domains, user profiles, and spaces
- Maintains consistent identity and access controls
- Allows simultaneous access to resources in both Studio versions
- Retains access to existing JupyterLab, CodeEditor spaces, and ML resources
- Provides an open-source, step-by-step migration tool
- Available in all AWS Commercial Regions supporting SageMaker Unified Studio
The upgrade enables a smooth transition for data science teams, ensuring continuity of work and gradual adaptation to the new SageMaker Unified Studio environment.
