Peraton developed CloudSPARCC, a multicloud FinOps dashboard using AWS services to solve cost monitoring challenges across multiple cloud providers. The solution offers comprehensive cloud spending insights with several key features:
- Unified visibility across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Flexible and customizable cost insights
- Minimal operational overhead
- Scalable serverless architecture
- 96.4% cost reduction compared to previous third-party tools
The solution uses AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon QuickSight to create a dashboard with three main screens: Executive Cloud Summary, Executive Billing Summary, and Custom Reports. It provides detailed cost tracking, trend analysis, and forecasting across multiple cloud platforms.
By developing an in-house solution, Peraton achieved significant cost savings while maintaining comprehensive cloud financial management capabilities.
