AWS has introduced an updated MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) Competency program to enhance cloud security partner validation.
- Replaces previous AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency
- Introduces seven security expertise categories:
- Infrastructure Security
- Workload Security
- Application Security
- Data Protection
- Identity & Access Management
- Incident Response
- Cyber Recovery
- Partners must meet core requirements and validate expertise in at least one category
- Optional integration of AWS Security Competency ISV solutions
The program aims to help AWS customers identify partners with comprehensive, validated security solutions.
