Amazon EMR on EKS has announced support for Service Quotas, providing customers with enhanced visibility and control over their EMR on EKS quota limits.
- Previously, customers had to submit support tickets to request quota increases
- Now, users can manage quota limits directly in the Service Quotas console
- Enables automated limit increase approvals for eligible requests
- Reduces response times and minimizes support ticket submissions
- Allows setting up CloudWatch alarms to monitor quota usage
- Available in all regions where Amazon EMR on EKS is currently supported
This update simplifies quota management and provides more self-service options for Amazon EMR on EKS customers.
