Amazon has released the Amazon Q Developer Java upgrade transformation CLI, enabling customers to perform Java upgrades via command line interface.
- Supports Java application upgrades from versions 8, 11, 17, or 21 to versions 17 or 21
- Provides selective transformation capabilities
- Enables conversion of embedded SQL for Oracle-to-PostgreSQL database migration
- Available in US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Frankfurt) regions
- Supports Linux and Mac OS command line interfaces
The CLI extends Q Developer's transformation capabilities, allowing developers to perform Java upgrades at scale more efficiently.
