AWS B2B Data Interchange has introduced new configuration capabilities for outbound X12 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents, enhancing flexibility for businesses.
- Enables customization of format and technical fields in generated EDI documents
- Helps ensure compatibility with trading partners' specific requirements
- Allows configuration of: • Date and time formats • New line character usage • Starting control numbers • Acknowledgement document generation
- Configurations are set at the Partnership level for consistent document generation
- Available in all AWS Regions where B2B Data Interchange is supported
These new features aim to reduce EDI document rejection risks and provide more granular control over document formatting for businesses using AWS B2B Data Interchange.
