With Windows 10 support ending on October 14, 2025, AWS recommends migrating to Windows 11 using Amazon WorkSpaces.
- WorkSpaces offers a secure, cost-effective, and scalable cloud environment for Windows 11
- Customers can bring existing Microsoft 365 Apps and Windows 11 OS licenses
- Existing WorkSpaces customers can easily migrate from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- WorkSpaces Core provides more configuration options for VDI migrations
- Cost-effective options include WorkSpaces Thin Client ($195/device) or repurposing old devices with Chrome OS Flex
Amazon WorkSpaces provides flexibility in transitioning to Windows 11, helping organizations manage their desktop infrastructure efficiently.
