177 AWS services achieve HITRUST certification

Security Blog

AWS has announced that 177 AWS services have achieved HITRUST certification for the 2025 assessment cycle, with five new services receiving certification for the first time:

  • Amazon Verified Permissions
  • AWS B2B Data Interchange
  • AWS Payment Cryptography
  • AWS Resource Explorer
  • AWS Security Incident Response

The certification allows customers to inherit AWS's HITRUST controls when deploying cloud solutions, eliminating the need for additional assessments. The certification is based on version 11.5.1 of the HITRUST CSF control framework and can be viewed through AWS Artifact.
