Amazon Q Business has launched Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), a new feature that improves AI-powered enterprise information retrieval and response generation.
- Uses AI agents to dynamically plan and execute complex multi-step queries
- Breaks down complicated queries into simpler, parallel retrievals
- Intelligently invokes data retrieval tools and combines results
- Includes built-in AI agents that critique and validate responses
- Provides proactive resolution of data conflicts through clarifying questions
The feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Q Business is offered, and can be accessed by toggling the "Advanced Search" option in the web application.
