AWS has updated its Game Analytics Pipeline guidance to help game studios better collect, process, and analyze player data with enhanced flexibility and performance. The key improvements include:

  • New deployment options with HashiCorp Terraform
  • Support for Apache Iceberg tables and Amazon Redshift Serverless
  • More data ingestion methods with Kinesis Data Streams and Data Firehose
  • Upgraded real-time analytics using Apache Flink and OpenSearch Service
  • Updated compute components with latest AWS Lambda and Graviton processors

The solution aims to help game developers derive meaningful insights from player data while minimizing infrastructure management overhead, enabling more data-driven game development strategies.
