Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink has added support for Amazon Key Management Service (KMS) Customer Managed Keys (CMK), enhancing data encryption capabilities for users.
- Previously used AWS-owned KMS keys for default encryption
- Now allows customers to use their own Customer Managed Keys
- Provides greater control over data encryption
- Supports real-time data stream processing applications
- Simplifies development and management of Flink infrastructure
This update gives customers more flexibility and control over encryption for their Apache Flink data stream processing environments.
