Amazon SageMaker HyperPod has introduced a new one-click cluster creation experience that simplifies and accelerates the setup of distributed training and inference clusters.
- Offers two deployment options: quick setup and custom setup
- Automatically creates necessary AWS resources like VPC, S3 bucket, IAM roles, and storage
- Provides automatic instance recovery and health monitoring
- Supports both Slurm and Amazon EKS orchestration
- Allows granular configuration of instance groups, networking, and cluster settings
- Enables downloading CloudFormation templates for further customization
The new experience eliminates manual configuration steps, reduces misconfigurations, and provides flexible options for creating AI training and inference clusters with built-in resilience and performance.
