News
Amazon Neptune Database has introduced Public Endpoints, a new feature that simplifies database access for developers:
- Allows direct connection to Neptune databases from outside the VPC
- Eliminates need for complex networking configurations like VPNs or bastion hosts
- Maintains security through IAM authentication, VPC security groups, and encryption
- Compatible with Neptune engine version 1.4.6 and above
- Can be enabled for new or existing Neptune clusters
- Available in all AWS Regions at no additional cost
The feature streamlines development access to Neptune databases while preserving robust security measures.
