Amazon Bedrock now supports synchronous inference for TwelveLabs' Marengo Embed 2.7, a multimodal embedding model with significant new capabilities:
- Enables low-latency text and image embeddings within API responses
- Supports instant video search using natural language queries
- Allows interactive product discovery through image similarity search
- Maintains advanced video understanding capabilities
- Available in US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Seoul) regions
While synchronous inference is ideal for text and image inputs, asynchronous inference remains recommended for processing large video, audio, and image files.
