Amazon SageMaker has introduced Amazon S3 based shared storage for project collaboration in SageMaker Unified Studio, replacing AWS CodeCommit as the default file storage option.
- Provides simplified collaboration with direct file sharing between project members
- Enables universal access across SageMaker tools like JupyterLab, Query Editor, and Visual ETL
- Offers clear workspace separation with personal EBS volumes
- Available in all AWS Regions where SageMaker is supported
- Maintains option to use Git version control for source code management
The new feature allows teams to easily share and collaborate on project files across different SageMaker development tools, streamlining the analytics and machine learning development process.
