Qwen models are now available in Amazon Bedrock

AWS has announced the addition of Qwen3 models from Alibaba to Amazon Bedrock, expanding its foundation model offerings with four new AI models optimized for different use cases.
- Four new Qwen3 models added: two mixture-of-experts (MoE) coder models and one instruction-tuned model, plus a dense 32B parameter model
- Models support advanced capabilities like code generation, agentic workflows, and multi-step reasoning
- Features include hybrid thinking modes, long-context handling (up to 256K tokens), and tool calling capabilities
- Models are available in multiple AWS regions, with the largest 480B model available in select regions
- Can be accessed through Amazon Bedrock's unified API without infrastructure management
The new Qwen3 models offer flexible AI solutions for developers, with options ranging from complex coding tasks to resource-constrained environments.
