Amazon RDS for MySQL has announced support for MySQL Innovation Release 9.4 in the Amazon RDS Database Preview Environment.
- Allows users to evaluate the latest MySQL Innovation Release in a fully managed environment
- Supports both Single-AZ and Multi-AZ deployments on latest generation instance classes
- Database instances are retained for a maximum of 60 days and automatically deleted
- Preview Environment database instances are priced the same as production RDS instances in US East (Ohio) Region
- MySQL 9.4 includes bug fixes, security patches, and new features
This release provides developers a way to test and evaluate the latest MySQL community innovations with the convenience of Amazon RDS management.
