AWS has announced the general availability of Neuron SDK 2.26.0, providing improvements for deep learning workloads on AWS Inferentia and Trainium-based instances.
- Supports PyTorch 2.8 and JAX 0.6.2
- Enhanced inference capabilities on Trainium2 (Trn2) instances
- Enables deployment of FLUX.1-dev image generation model and Llama 4 Scout/Maverick variants
- Introduces expert parallelism support for Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models
- Updated Neuron Profiler with improved system profile grouping
- Available in all AWS Regions supporting Inferentia and Trainium instances
The release provides developers with more flexible and performant machine learning deployment options across various deep learning frameworks.
