Amazon GameLift Servers adds ability to view and connect to instances in the console

Amazon GameLift Servers has introduced new console capabilities for viewing and connecting to individual fleet instances, enhancing troubleshooting capabilities for game server management.

  • New Instances tab added to EC2 and Container Fleet Detail pages
  • Users can view instance metadata in a human-readable format
  • Ability to directly connect to instances using AWS CloudShell via SSM
  • Enables easier debugging and inspection of game server fleet performance
  • Supports accessing instance details, logs, and network configurations

The feature is available in most Amazon GameLift Servers supported regions, excluding AWS China, and aims to reduce troubleshooting time and improve visibility into game server infrastructure.
