AWS Parallel Computing Service (AWS PCS) has expanded its Slurm configuration capabilities, offering more granular control over high performance computing (HPC) cluster operations.

  • Users can now set over 60 additional Slurm parameters
  • Enables fine-tuned resource management and job scheduling
  • Supports advanced features like: • Queue-specific priority policies • Preemption settings • Custom time and resource limits • Account-level access permissions
  • Simplifies running complex HPC environments across multiple teams and projects
