Amazon Connect now offers generative AI-powered email support features that enhance agent productivity and customer service:

  • Automatically generates email conversation overviews
  • Provides suggested actions and responses for agents
  • Offers detailed context about customer interactions
  • Can generate step-by-step resolution guides for specific issues
  • Allows customization through knowledge bases and AI prompts

To enable the feature, users must add the Amazon Q in Connect block to their email contact flows and can customize AI responses to match their company's communication style and policies.
