AWS has introduced an enhanced automatic dashboard in Amazon CloudWatch Logs to help users analyze and optimize their log usage and costs.
- Provides visibility into CloudWatch Logs usage patterns across eight key sections
- Sections include log ingestion, service usage, Embedded Metric Format, subscription filters, and log anomaly detection
- Allows users to track log ingestion volumes, API calls, errors, and transformations
- Helps identify cost drivers and optimize observability strategy
- Dashboard is available at no additional cost in the CloudWatch console
The new dashboard enables users to make data-driven decisions about their CloudWatch Logs usage and understand the value of their observability infrastructure.
