News

Amazon Route 53 Profiles now supports AWS PrivateLink, enabling customers to manage DNS configurations privately and securely over the Amazon network.

  • AWS PrivateLink provides private connectivity between VPCs, AWS services, and on-premises applications
  • All Route 53 Profile operations can now be performed via the private Amazon network
  • Profiles allow standard DNS configuration across multiple VPCs
  • Can include private hosted zone associations, Resolver rules, and DNS Firewall rule groups
  • Supports DNSSEC validations, Resolver reverse DNS lookups, and DNS Firewall settings
  • Profiles can be shared across AWS accounts using AWS Resource Access Manager
  • Available in current Route 53 Profiles regions, including AWS GovCloud (US)

This enhancement improves security and network isolation for managing DNS configurations in AWS.
