Amazon CloudWatch Database Insights has expanded its anomaly detection capabilities for on-demand database performance analysis.
- Provides enhanced machine learning-powered anomaly detection
- Now identifies anomalies in database-level and operating system-level counter metrics
- Offers per-SQL metrics analysis for top database load contributors
- Automatically compares selected time periods against baseline performance
- Provides specific remediation advice and visualization
The feature is available for Amazon Aurora and RDS databases through AWS management console, APIs, and CloudFormation, helping database administrators quickly diagnose and resolve performance issues.
