News

AWS Control Tower has introduced a new feature for automatic account enrollment that simplifies governance and account management:

  • Accounts can now be automatically enrolled when moved to a new Organizational Unit (OU)
  • Eliminates manual account updates and re-registration of OUs
  • Automatically applies baseline configurations and controls from the new OU
  • Removes previous OU configurations when an account is moved
  • Available for customers using landing zone version 3.1 and higher

This feature enables customers to streamline their AWS account provisioning and governance workflows, making it easier to maintain consistency across their AWS environment.
