This article announces AWS Config now supports 21 additional AWS resource types, expanding monitoring and compliance capabilities across the AWS environment.
- 21 new resource types added across EC2, SageMaker, S3 Tables, and other services
- Automatic tracking enabled for all resource types if recording is enabled
- New resources available in Config rules and Config aggregators
- Coverage includes AppStream, IoT, CleanRoomsML, CloudFront, Connect, and more
- Available in all AWS Regions where supported resources exist
