Amazon Inspector adds Java Gradle support and expands ecosystem coverage

This article announces expanded ecosystem coverage for Amazon Inspector, AWS's automated vulnerability management service, with new support for Java Gradle and additional software packages.
- Java Gradle support now scans dependencies from gradle.lockfile content
- New coverage for MySQL, MariaDB, PHP, Jenkins-core, 7zip, Elasticsearch, Curl/LibCurl
- Applies to Lambda functions and Elastic Container Registry image scanning
- Detects vulnerabilities in packages installed outside package managers
- Features available in all AWS Regions where Inspector operates
