This article announces AWS Resource Control Policies (RCPs) now support Amazon Cognito and Amazon CloudWatch Logs.
- RCPs now manage permissions for Cognito and CloudWatch Logs resources
- Enables central control over maximum available permissions organization-wide
- Prevents external identities from accessing protected resources
- Helps build data perimeters and enforce baseline security standards
- Available in all AWS commercial and GovCloud regions
This expansion strengthens AWS Organizations' ability to enforce consistent security policies across Cognito and CloudWatch Logs services.
