- ListJobs API now returns statusSummary field showing child job counts by state
- Displays job states: SUBMITTED, PENDING, RUNNABLE, STARTING, RUNNING, SUCCEEDED, FAILED
- Previously statusSummary was only available in DescribeJobs API
- Includes statusSummaryLastUpdatedAt timestamp for status freshness assessment
- Monitor multiple array jobs in single API call instead of multiple calls
- Available in all AWS Regions where AWS Batch operates
