AWS completes the 2026 annual Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC) certification audit

This article announces that AWS has successfully completed the 2026 annual Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC) certification audit for Tier 1 Cloud Service Provider status in the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region.

• AWS maintains DESC certification for operating as Tier 1 Cloud Service Provider in UAE Region
• Independent auditor BSI validated compliance with DESC Framework requirements
• Updated certificate valid through January 22, 2027
• 10 additional services now in scope, totaling 108 services certified
• New services include Bedrock, Inspector, Prometheus, and Verified Permissions
• Represents 10% increase in certified services for Middle East region
• Certificates available through AWS Artifact self-service portal
