This article announces expanded multi-node cluster support for Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB 3 Enterprise edition, enabling larger deployments for demanding production workloads.

  • Clusters now scale up to 15 nodes total for high throughput and availability
  • Configure 1-4 writer/reader nodes, 0-13 dedicated reader-only nodes, plus compactor node
  • Dedicated reader-only nodes handle read-heavy workloads without impacting writes
  • Multi-node deployments span multiple Availability Zones for fault tolerance
  • Add and remove nodes dynamically from all Enterprise clusters
  • Upgrade from Core to Enterprise edition to access multi-node capabilities
