Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime now supports managed session storage for persistent agent filesystem state (preview)

News

This article announces managed session storage for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime in public preview, enabling agents to persist filesystem state across stop and resume cycles.

  • Agents can now persist files, packages, and artifacts across session stops
  • Automatic data replication to durable storage with no code changes required
  • Up to 1 GB storage per session, retained for 14 days of idle time
  • Supports standard Linux filesystem operations including files, directories, symlinks
  • Session storage isolated per session with no cross-session access
  • Available across fourteen AWS regions globally
