- AWS Backup PITR support now available in Asia Pacific (Malaysia, Thailand, Taipei, New Zealand)
- Also available in Canada West (Calgary) and Mexico (Central)
- Enables policy-based data protection and recovery for Aurora clusters
- Users can add Aurora clusters to existing backup plans or create new ones
- Continuous backups or PITR must be enabled on associated backup rules
