Two new models for agentic coding and efficient AI are now available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart

This article announces the availability of two new foundation models in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart: GLM-5.1-FP8 and Phi-4-mini-instruct, designed for enterprise AI workloads.

• GLM-5.1-FP8 enables agentic software engineering with multi-round optimization and repository-level code generation
• GLM-5.1-FP8 ideal for automated code review, AI development environments, and complex debugging workflows
• Phi-4-mini-instruct provides strong reasoning, math, and logic in memory-constrained environments
• Phi-4-mini-instruct supports 24 languages and function calling with minimal resource overhead
• Both models deployable via SageMaker Studio or Python SDK with minimal configuration

These models expand SageMaker JumpStart's foundation model portfolio, offering specialized capabilities for agentic coding and efficient inference on AWS infrastructure.
