This article announces the general availability of Amazon EC2 P5en.48xl instances on SageMaker notebook instances.
- P5en instances feature 8 H200 GPUs with 1.7x more memory than H100 GPUs
- 1.4x greater GPU memory bandwidth compared to P5 instances
- Gen5 PCIe provides up to 4x CPU-to-GPU bandwidth improvement
- Up to 35% latency improvement for distributed training workloads
- Available in US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
- Supports JupyterLab and CodeEditor applications on SageMaker Studio
