Amazon Cognito now supports self-service provisioned API rate limits

News

Amazon Cognito now allows self-service adjustment of provisioned API rate limits on demand to match application traffic patterns.

  • Adjust rate limits up or down immediately through the Cognito console or new limit provisioning API operations
  • Previously required manual Service Quotas requests with advance planning for traffic spikes
  • Available for adjustable API categories across all AWS Regions where Cognito is available
  • Changes take effect immediately without manual review delays

Self-service rate limit provisioning enables more flexible and responsive capacity management for Cognito user pools.
