AWS Glue Data Quality now supports a new Distribution Analyzer that generates frequency distribution profiles for data profiling without custom code.
- Create histograms for numeric columns and value distributions for categorical, date, and boolean columns

- Identify skewness, outliers, and unexpected patterns across datasets
- Integrates with existing DQDL rulesets for combined data quality checks in single evaluation
- Distribution statistics stored in Amazon S3 and queryable via Amazon Athena
- Accessible through APIs for integration with monitoring workflows and visualization tools like SageMaker Unified Studio
- Available in all AWS commercial regions and AWS GovCloud (US) regions
