News

AWS announces the preview of the AWS Security Hub MCP App, a local Model Context Protocol server that integrates Security Hub exposure findings directly into Claude Desktop for streamlined security investigations.

  • Investigate security posture in natural language with top exposure findings and attack paths
  • Drill into findings' expanded network paths and examine correlated findings
  • Review affected resource configurations and receive remediation recommendations
  • Returns text summaries for AI reasoning and interactive visualizations for verification
  • Runs locally using existing AWS credentials with read-only access
  • Available at no additional cost to Security Hub customers in preview

The Security Hub MCP App reduces context switching and manual triage, enabling security teams to explore and act on exposures within their AI-assisted workflow.
