Amazon OpenSearch Service now supports OpenSearch version 3.7, featuring enhancements to vector search, search relevance, and query monitoring.
- 1-bit scalar quantization compresses vectors on Faiss and Lucene engines, reducing storage and memory requirements
- Retrieve vectors faster using doc values without requiring reindexing
- Search Relevance Workbench adds evaluation metrics, CSV judgment uploads, and hybrid search optimization
- Query Insights provides automated recommendations, finished-queries cache, and S3 export for query analysis
- Available across all AWS Regions where Amazon OpenSearch Service operates
