AWS WAF now supports Miggo Security managed rule groups for emerging threats and AI/ML application protection

News

AWS WAF now supports two new partner managed rule groups from Miggo Security, available through AWS Marketplace for enhanced threat protection.

  • High Emerging Application Threats rule group protects against actively exploited vulnerabilities and CISA KEV catalog threats
  • AI/ML Application Protection rule group focuses on generative-AI stacks including LLM gateways and model-serving infrastructure
  • Rule groups provide continuously updated protection without requiring custom rule writing or maintenance
  • Subscribe and add rule groups directly to web ACLs in AWS WAF console with no additional configuration
  • Both rule groups support versioning with pricing set by Miggo through AWS Marketplace

These managed rule groups enable AWS WAF customers to protect against emerging and AI-specific threats with minimal operational overhead.
