Networking & Content Delivery Blog

AWS and Microsoft Azure collaborate to launch AWS Interconnect – multicloud with Azure connectivity in Public Preview, enabling seamless private connectivity between the two cloud providers.

  • Provision private, high-speed connectivity between AWS and Azure on demand through a single managed experience
  • Quad-redundant architecture ensures enterprise-grade availability with four independent logical paths
  • MACsec encryption protects data in transit between cloud providers
  • Simplified provisioning in clicks instead of weeks or months via AWS Console, CLI, or Azure portal
  • Network Synthetic Monitor included at no cost for troubleshooting and packet loss detection
  • Available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (N. California), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Europe (Frankfurt)

This collaboration simplifies multicloud connectivity, reducing operational complexity and enabling enterprises to seamlessly connect workloads across AWS and Azure environments.
