Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio Workflows now supports PythonOperator and BashOperator for executing custom code directly in serverless workflows.
- Run custom Python functions and shell commands without provisioning separate compute resources
- Eliminates need to offload logic to Lambda or ECS for data transformations and scripts
- Add operators via visual workflow canvas by dragging PythonOperator or BashOperator nodes
- Configure operators to call specific functions or commands from provided script files
- Available in all AWS Regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is supported
These new operators streamline workflow development by enabling direct execution of custom logic within the visual workflow interface.
